Interview: Mentoring for small business owner at Tea At Taxevity

I have had the pleasure of being interviewed by Promod Sharma for Tea At Taxevity. Since I’m pretty new to giving interviews on video, I was glad with Promod’s a calm demeanor and his preparation. He explained what would happen and the topics we would be covering. As with everything else, preparation is key. (Giving us also the chance to laugh!)

If you’re being interviewed, I encourage you to prepare at home by looking at how you will dress, what the key message is that you want to get across, practice once more how you’d like to represent your business. Look at materials on your website – what is the recurring theme? When you network, is there something you need to explain for people new to your business. Keep this explanation in mind, because the viewers of the interview will have the same questions, so you want to be able to incorporate this into your answers.

Watch the video below to learn what mentoring is and who it is for! And oh so important, how you choose a mentor.
